| Thanks for opening this up! (Beetlewarrior?) I would like to see some Texas rails, we don't exactly have the same requirements as those guys out West, show me what works in the Lone Star State.

| | Coming from Vegas and going to Dumont dunes every year the rails out there are sick, but not everyone has $110,000 for a rail. I like yours a nice budget rail that doesn't cost more than a house. |

| I had to go out to Yuma several years ago and there was a spot on I 10 where a bunch of sand rails were jumping the dunes from one side of the interstate to the other. • ~ • ~ • ~ • ~ • ~ • ~ • ~ • ~ • ~ • ~ • ~ • ~ • ~ • ~ • ~ • Cell # 903.456.0192

| I've never been far enough West to see real desert, it's on the wishlist though. I am pretty jealous when I read offroad magazines and all of the cool places to wheel are in Cali Oh well, at least we don't have to put up with the overzealous state gov. that they have. Not yet anyway......
Thanks for the compliment Bob, she looks a little rough now, but the lines look right to me. I think I could make a pretty clean little budget rail for less than a used 4wheeler if I don't get carried away! Speaking of budgets, what should I be looking to pay for a 1600 or 1641 engine? The Bug Clinic in College Station quoted me $1350ex. for a 1600DP with a mild cam. I will probably try to find a used motor this summer and save up for something new next year but I still want to get an idea of prices.
Thanks, Brad |

| Awesome, I dig the rail! The Banshee is cool too, always wanted one. I didn't even know there were dunes in OK! I hope when I get mine finished that my wife will get interested in off-road sports |

| Little Sahara State Park, Waynoka Oklahoma. Run by the State, nice campgrounds, fairly well monitored by Park Rangers and game wardens, Clean w/showers and restrooms, The small town has dedicated trail systems to and from dunes to town on quads and buggies, no tags or inspections required just stay on the marked trail and roads. The only reason town is still alive is because of the dunes and they know it.

| | If you follow the link and click on the photos bar, you can see some great rails and buggies! I have a few pics in there somewhere, on my quads and the rail. Rally a great place, even for families! |
