| | I purchased a extra engine to build into a 1915. I was wondering who does good engine work in the fort worth area. I just want machine work, I will assemble the engine. Any help is greatly appreciated. |

| Under the FYI forum you will see a list that has vw service and parts shops. I had my motor done by Lyle Cherry 15-16 years ago. I am not sure how much work he is doing now. Execellent builder though. Vdubhobbyshop is run by LOWFATBUG who posts here often. I met him a while back and had great vw chat. I have also used vdub folks and the bug stop as well. All great people. Here is link to FYI post. http://www.texasaircoolers.com/for-your-information-fyi-f1/texas-parts-shops-garages-that-work-on-vw-s-t192.htm |

| I would stay away from VDub Folks in Irving. Automotive machine shop in FT. Worth I use for line boring cases. I would rather let them do my line boring,so if it ever gets messed up,I won't feel bad about raising cane and have them replace the case. But.. Doug,Qualitat..,Billy ,VdubHobbyShop, And Lyle Cherry are Excellent builders, you can't go wrong.
