Anyone like to pull a triger once in a while?

I like to drop a hammer on a 44 mag every now and then. Cool

Do those look like the Trooper models? I've got one of those, a 357.

The only thing I love more than shooting is talkin' about it on the internet, heh heh. I have a couple ARs, a Sig 226, and a an assortment of hunting rifles. My two favorite rifle calibers are .223 and .308, for pistols it is 9mm and .44mag. Of course the old .22 is a fun one to shoot as well. I try to hog hunt at least a couple times a month, we can't kill 'em quick enough around here. Not a big deer or bird hunter, just varmints mainly.

Better hold onto the AR's sounds like they gonna ban them again. They are already expensive enough, but such a nice rifle, next to my sks my favorite rifle to shoot

I haven't had a chance to shoot my AR yet, but I had enough practice at BCT this past summer with the M16A2. I loved that rifle so much I came home and bought one. I'd like to try and get an sks before they put that ban back. Don't know if I'll have the money though.

Yeah, they won't be going anywhere! I had a paratrooper SKS when I was in highschool, and traded it for a 350 short block when I mine blew up! I wish I had the SKS back but transportation was more important to a 17yo kid. I have actually been thinking about buying a 7.62X39 upper for one of my ARs because it will be alot cheaper to shoot!

I hate to encourage someone to spend their money, but if I were you I would get one now. You don't if you can afford it now, well you sure won't be able to afford it in 10 years! I think guns are always a good investment, I have never lost money on one.

I've got an AR. It's a Bushmaster XM-15. I was just pointing out that I haven't had the time to go to the range yet. I need to get it sighted in and try a few rounds to see what ammo I'm most accurate with.

I know what you mean, my first AR was a Rock River, which is about the same price level as Bushmaster. The sad part is that both of these brands are considered "budget" ARs! Check out LMT's, Larue's, etc. $1500+, that's way out of my league. My other one is a DPMS lower with a Del-Ton carbine kit upper, I have $575 invested in this one. Both of mine shoot great and I don't really have a use for all of the tacticool goodies, so I am happy with what I have. The thing I love about ARs is that you can build 'em or personalize 'em at home without needing a gunsmith.

I wanted to get another sks, but you can't find one for under $350.00. I paid 200 for mine with 500 rounds. Going to see what they are going for ant the gun show

Brooke's older brother was killed in a hunting accident about 10yrs ago, so guns aren't really all that welcome around here. I was able after about two years of fighting to bring home my Glock 9mm(all of my guns are at my parents' house.).

I am a bowhunter though, and shoot a PSE Whitetail Extreme. It's a small bow, which makes it easy to climb a tree with, and still has almost 75lbs of pull. It has put many a hog in the freezer, plus tons of varmits when I was married to my ex-wife and we lived out in the country. The final night that the house was gunless, my neighbor's wife called and said that there were two guys in a white pickup sitting out in front of their house. She said that one of the guys kept walking up to the garage and then going back to the truck. I hung up the phone and pulled "Sticker" from her case. I threw on a hat and boots(to go along with my red & white boxers and wife beater!!!!), and walked around the house to hide behind the partial wall that extends from the house nextdoor. About that time, Garage Boy was walking back to the truck, and I yelled "Hey". When I put the laser sight on the side of the truck, he screamed like a little girl and jumped into the bed. Problem was, I had already drawn back on the truck and wasn't ABOUT to waste this chance!!!!! I shot the arrow right into the bedside of the truck, they hauled ass, and we called the cops. The cop asked me if I got a plate #, and Brooke just told him to look for the white truck with an arrow hanging out of it!!!!!! I just asked them to kindly return my carbon fiber arrow if they caught them. True story!!!!!!!!!
