| | i just heard if you take out 1 of the leafs in the front end beams and tilt the torsion arms to the lowering direction iy will lower it by 2 inches. has anyone done this or know anymore detailed info on it before i wing it tomorrow? |

I don't remember seeing any "leafs" on my bugs front end. Let me know how it all works out. |

| the torsion leaf bars inside the 2 front end beams, i heard if one is removed (not sure which one) .remove torsion arms, and pivot the torsion arms to yhe lowering direction and slide the arms back on. I was told it lowers the ball joint front end by 2 inches.Any news or tips on this? |

| Never tried it so I don't know if it will work or not. My last two bugs, I was always trying to get more ground clearance out of them. Now the Super Beetle, that's a different story. |
