Texas Air Coolers was established with the intent to offer a website based platform to allow "ALL" Air Cooled enthusiast interested in sharing their ideas, problems, achievements, projects, or just keep in touch with other AC owners. If you own a Air Cooled vehicle or not. Feel free to make yourself at home here. We are a collection of people who, through the organization, formation, and establishment share a common grass rooted interest in the advanced waterless means of transportation. Everything that exists now is the result of people volunteering their time, effort and money to make it happen.

If you have a Air Cooled vehicle and there is no forum covering it feel free to ask the Administrator to add it.

The following is a run down on how this site operates.

User Accounts / Visiting the Site:
If you have forgotten your password, your password cannot be retrieved, it can be reset. To do this go to the login page and click I've forgotten my password. Follow the instructions and you should be back online in no time. If you have a zero post count and it has been nine (9) months since you have logged onto the site your account may be deleted.

Classified Posting:
To prevent ads from remaining in the system and becoming outdated that area is setup to remove topics which have not been replied to after 90 days. If you wish to keep the post up and it is near the 90 day mark you may simply reply and post Bump, this will give you another 3 months.

User Avatars:
Displays a small graphic image below your details in posts. Only one image can be displayed at a time, its width cannot exceed 150 pixels, the height cannot exceed 200 pixels, and the file size cannot be higher than 64 KB.

If you wish to use one... The site has a large selection or if you rather use your own. Please do not use any graphic or nudity pictures. A little skin is okay.

User Signatures:
If you wish to use one... Your signature should contain a bit of info you wish all that see in your post contributions like your first name, what kind of VW's you have, your location. Quotes are often a good way to show your cleverness.
If you wish to have a picture in your signature please limit it to 640 W X 200 H pixels.
Signatures that are degrading, insulting, or aggressively political theme in nature need to be avoided.

Posting Pictures In Threads Using a Image Hosting Provider:
Detailed pictures are great. Please be kind enough to reduce your picture size down to 640 W x 480 H pixels to have them displayed in your thread. If your pictures are larger than the size about please just supply the link.

Trouble with registering or not receiving your confirmation email:
If your having trouble getting registered as in not receiving an email from the site for you to complete the activation and you are using a "Good" E mail address or you have entered it wrong by accident or if your e mail provider you may have issues with receiving the verification e mail from this site. If you haven't received it within 24 hours please contact the administrator. you may contact the Site Administrator for help. Click Here
