Hey Mike,

Supers are a whole other beast, no drop spindles for them. Yet!
"To do it right."

You have to get adjustable struts, inserts for adjustable struts and heavy duty springs so the strut wont bottom out because it's shorter...

Here is a link to cip1's HP & lowering page... Hold onto your shorts when you see the cost.

Pissssssssssttttttttt........

I've heard of guys cutting a round of spring out to lower the front end. Or using a clamp to pull a couple of rounds together. If your not wanting to go too low.

Any case, you will want a spring compressor. If you haven't messed with taking the struts apart... They will hurt you!

I'm sure you are already aware, but I gotta throw this out....

DO NOT TRY TO CUT THE SPRINGS ON THE STRUTS! Like Terry said, use spring compressors. Liquid hot magma slung off a spring when they pop sux! Plus the strut itself may explode. If you are looking for a cheap way out, go to Autozone and buy a set of cheap spring compressors on just leave them on. A word of warning... Your ride is gonna be pretty rough. but it will be a cheap way out.
