For sometime now some of you know that I blew out my transmission in the Mini.

Sweet My new trans is in route...It will be here on Thursday. Yes I know its not a VW,but WTH its a Mini...

Here is a list of the parts and the part numbers that are needed to make this work in my car. All I can say is Bye Bye Crappy Midlands 5 speed......2nd gear tops out at 72mph....in the Getrag 6 speed...



23-00-7-574-849 6 speed gearbox

31-60-7-574-850 Output Shaft – Right (Passenger side)

31-60-7-574-852 Output Shaft – Left (Driver side)

12-41-1-517-328 Starter

21-51-6-777-428 Output Cylinder Clutch (slave cylinder)

21-52-6-759-854 Pipe (connects clutch line to slave)

21-52-6-759-855 Pipe Bracket (bracket for Pipe line)

22-31-6-754-422 Support Bracket, Transmission (Trans Mount)

23-11-7-509-737 Bracket, Bowden cable (bracket for shifter cables)

23-11-7-527-716 Backup Light Switch w/ CONNECTOR from car wiring (IMPORTANT)

21-20-7-532-057 Twin Mass Flywheel

21-20-7-551-384 Pressure Plate

21-20-7-527-827 Clutch

21-51-7-547-077 Clutch Release bearing

25-11-7-542-693 Gear shift lug w/ shift knob (Shifter + shifter cables)(Gear shift cables Selector rod ( Gear shift cables Shift cable)

The KY will help....lol..Yes I will take lotsa pics. I need to barrow a car dolly. Anyone have one or know anyone who does. I dont want to use UHaul.

The Mini is now driving again.....It is even more peppy than with the 5 speed.
Now it is time to get rid of the 17x7.5s and trade down to some 16x7s.

More off the line torque, and better MPG.....Also the tires have too much grip
