HELP! Not sure what it can be...this morning driving to work I changed gears and pushed the gas and got sluggish. I just figured it was still a little cold so I went to the gas station to get my coffee and when I left it back fired really loud and now wont start. YES there is gas in it someone give me some ideas on what could be the problem. PLEASE!!!

Ok I changed the distrbutor cap it was cracked and the car still wont start not sure if it could be the coil??? its trying to start just not getting there.
When I do get it running Im goiing to take it to Piston and Plug for a tune up.

Have you checked to see if a spark plug blew out of the head?

You did check to make sure the wire back on correctly? (just asking)

I had a distributor bracket get loose on me once and the dist came up enough it got out of time.
