 rats hard to start in this cold

working today, i found the rat was unusually hard to start even in the cold. i had it tuned sweet and purring almost with just a turn of the key. will not try any adjustments until i hit the road again in a week or so. but, its been sitting for about two weeks so i was worried it was something else other than it being mucho frio. was it to be expected in this cold.
