Looking forward to a quite night after a long busy week at work. About 7 pm I heard first response fire truck go by.... I had just hung up from talking to friend that lives up the road (direction the fire equipment went). Asked him if he wanted to get together and drink a couple. He told me he was just about to leave west Ft. Worth. Well that idea was no more. Then another fire truck went by.

My friend calls me back, his daughter had just called him. Guess where the fire trucks were going....
He asked me to go check on his wife because she was suppose to be sleeping. He couldn't get hold of her. So I'm out the door half dressed and up to his house. She was okay, Guy that lives next door put most of it out with a garden hose. cheers

He just wanted to get it so the rain would stay out, didn't want to disturb much till insurance could get out Monday to check it out. I think he's also in disbelief still.

Man, that really sux!!! In '07, Brooke caught our kitchen on fire and we had to stay with her parents for 2mos while they went through and fixed the house. They took all of our stuff to some place and removed all the smoke damage, painted our entire house, put new appliances in the kitchen.......What a mess!!!!!! I feel for him.
