| looks like I'm gonna be getting a 57 oval ragtop bug that has been sitting in a garage since christmas of 1979!  the reason it was parked was it had been in a little mishap (it got rolled). it had 1100 miles on a fresh built 36hp motor at that time. more than likely it's gonna have to have a roof clip (which I have an oval rag clip). he says it didn't hurt any of the ragtop mechanism and has all the glass. evidently it hit the roof on the drivers side rail because he had to remove the drivers door because he couldn't get it to shut, says it buckled the drivers 1/4. trashed the pass front fender and pushed the wheel back. he also says it bent the frame but I'm not sure to what extent. he also says there is no rust in this car, pans are perfect. |

| Getting to fix, or getting to own?
Sounds like a challenging project either way! |
