Well first let me say this is my first VW project and I am very excited about it. I think I learn something new every day.... some things good.... some things bad.....

The bad:
I'm pretty sure I should have gone with an IRS transmission after much reading...... (oh well... learn from mistakes) right now I don't have the body on the chassis and my rear tires have some pretty extreme positive camber. I'm not sure where to go from here. I hear its pretty dangerous taking sharp turns with too much positive camber. It will probably wear out my tires pretty quick too. Soooo before I get to far with the project I would like to fix this problem.

Here is what it looks like now:

Do you think it will straighten out with the weight of the motor and body?

Heres something I found on the internet that I think might fix it.....

or this....

Does anyone have some advice for me? I would like to do it as cheap and safe as possible....

maybe shorter shocks??? ughh I don't know.....

A guy posted on a different forum "
You can do the same thing by sticking a 13mm head nut between the
spring plate and the plate stop and then tack weld it in place. Works
like a champ."

I'm not sure what that means.... but pretty sure I don't have a spring plate.....?

you can't really tell just how bad it will be (if at all) until your body in on and your motor is in. if it does need some tweeking that can be done at that point and you won't need to buy any parts to do it.

Ok great well that's good news. I will continue on without messing with that for now.

Thanks!
