 fuel pump ?

I put a electric fuel pump on today, and was wondering if anyone else was running theres in the engine bay?

I just took it for a drive and seems like it might be getting to much fuel now, if I put it farther away would this slow the amount of fuel going into the filter

no but you might be able to get a regulator so you can set the pressure you want.

I've heard a lot of those electric fuel pumps and pushers and not pullers. I read on samba somewhere that a guy mounted his underneath the gas tank and just tied it into the existing fuel line. You might look into that. Good luck.

I mounted mine (fuel pump) under the fuel tank and put a pressure regulator above the tranny. I'm trying to keep as many possible fuel leaks out of the engine compartment that I can. Only 2 possibilities right now, where the metal like comes out from the firewall and goes back to rubber, and then where the rubber line connects to the carb.
