 No generator voltage

My generator has passed the brush test and the polarizing test. But still does not have any voltage out put banghead . Does anyone have any ideas Question Or should I just go ahead and replace the generator and the voltage regulator Question
THANKS guys your advise worked! My ugly but running sand rail is up and running! banana If I knew how post pictures I would put them in. It looks like it belongs on the movie Road Warrior. THANKS AGAIN! notworthy

Replace the Voltage Regulator.

Can't remember if it's Alternator only or Generator too Question but just in case make sure your dash light in the speedometer is working as it's needed to complete the circuit. Otherwise it is more than likely the voltage regulator...

Did you disconnect the generator from the regulator, and connect a jumper from DF on the generator to the generator frame. Run the engine and measure the voltage from ground to D+
on the generator.
Increasing the engine speed, the voltage should jump up to +35
volts or so @3000 RPM.
